Welcome from me too sharon,

I am Jenni- 34-married, have 3 children and I am struggling a bit with life at the moment but after many many brushes with serious doo dahs, I seem to have struck gold with a new drug called Cimzia.

I am having my second dose next wk. I am pleased the MTX is working, when it really goes well for a while, do take the opportunity to get off the steroids if you can, they have caused me such problems.

everyone is great on here.

Jenni xx

Hi Sharon

Welcome to the forum but sorry to hear that you have RA. That diagnosis was a fair time coming and after all you've been through! I hope you continue to do well on the methotrexate, a gold standard drug used frequently in the treatment of RA. I have just come off it after 10 years of successful treatment ... but that's another story!

I'm Lyn, married with four children and we live in Thornton Cleveleys on the Fylde coast in Lancashire. I was diagnosed with sero-negative RA 22 years ago and I'm currently on Enbrel, Prednisolone, Naproxen and a few other bits and pieces. Knees, feet and wrists tend to be my bugbear and I've had several surgical procedures to modify bits along the way!

Look forward to chatting with you,

Lyn x
